Why are we here?

The ultimate question. One which we would never presume to have a definitive answer. But that doesn’t stop us from seeking the answer to the question. And I most certainly have some ideas of my own. One idea is that we are here to discover our true selves. And I believe that our true selves are beautiful and powerful beyond measure. And that’s where CreatableMe comes in…

CreatableMe was designed to help kids, and their parents consciously connect, communicate, and create together. To inspire and empower through mindfulness and creativity for the sake of developing a deeper awareness of self and each other. To help create powerful, intentional lives, to ultimately affect positive change in the world. At least that’s what it says on the website. And it’s true. This is the purpose of CreatableMe. But WHY? What inspired its creation in the first place?

The answer is simple…

It is our intention and desire to create a world that is better than the one into which we were born.

We have chosen to do this with “Conscious Creativity.” That’s what We’re calling it anyway. What Conscious Creativity means to us is the culmination of five key elements – (click on any one of them to learn more)

The 5 C’s of CreatableMe

  • Consciousness – as in the practice of mindful awareness.

  • Creativity – artistic expression as well as creative self-expression, to ultimately create the life we choose and the reality in which we live.

  • Connection – connection to self, each other, the planet, and something greater than ourselves. Everything is connected; we are one.

  • Communication – positive self-talk, powerful connection, collaboration, and community.

  • Character – developing one’s character, a better understanding of one’s self and personality, and creating fun character stories, toys, etc..

We believe these five core concepts are the key to a better life for all. These skills are not only vital for the development of children but essential for the entire world to thrive. You will find everything we do here is built on or falls under at least one of these five principles. (please visit The Five C’s Page for more on this)

Of course, there are other, equally essential elements necessary for the world to thrive, but I think you will find most of them exist within these five primary elements. Many of which also begin with the letter C…

Caring, Compassion, Collaboration, Community, Coexistence, Charity, Chivalry, Choice, Coadjutant, Coequality, Cooperation, Courage, Courtesy, and Cuddling, because we all need a hug now and then.

As you can see, there are many important elements necessary to create a better world. And that’s just the C’s. But if we only focus on these five key concepts, the rest should come pretty easy to us.

But HOW?

Well, let’s not forget about one more big C you will find at CreatableMe… Courses.

Pretty cool, right?

But why call it CreatableMe? Well, let’s break it down, shall we?

Dictionary.com defines the word “create” as follows…

Create – to evolve from one’s thought or imagination as a work of art or an invention.

So that’s “create.” Next, we have…

Able – having the necessary power, skill, talent, resources, or qualifications; qualified.

Finally, we have…

Me – used by a speaker to refer to himself or herself as the object of a verb or preposition.

We have also redefined the word “ME” by turning it into an abbreviation, M.E., to stand for so much more than one’s self, such as…

Maximum Expression. Mindful Expansion. Monumental Evolution. Masterful Emotions. Motivated Energy. Magnanimous Engagement. Magnificently Empowered.

Simply put, we get… I am able to create. To put it another way… I have the power to create something unique. I think we can do better still…

I have the power to create a better “Me” and a better world.

This is what CreatableMe is all about. And that my friends, is why we are here.
