The 5 C’s of CreatableMe focus on conscious creativity for both you and your little ones. These 5 C’s consist of consciousness, creativity, connection, communication, and character. Here we’re going to talk more about the third C, Connection. Connection seems pretty straightforward on the surface, but it actually encompasses a lot and is quite important. When you start to practice consciousness and mindful awareness, you begin to realize that we are all connected in some way. Connection starts with ourselves and extends out to connect with others, the planet, a higher power, and the universe. We are all one. Here we will explore what this connection is and why it matters.

Finding a Connection with Everything Around Us

We like to start with a quote that sums up connection pretty well.

Everything around us is primarily made up of stardust. We are all connected to each other, the planet, and the universe in some way. Connection starts with the self. You must be connected with yourself, your thoughts, and your feelings in order to bridge any meaningful connections around you. When you begin to practice consciousness and mindful awareness, this connection will start to build on its own. You will be more in touch with yourself, your mind, and your emotions. This allows understanding, empathy, and emotional intelligence to grow as well.

Once you have a connection with yourself, it will be easier to build connections with others, the planet, and a higher power. Having this connection is essential to all the other 5 C’s of CreatableMe. By teaching it to your children, it will help them understand their feelings and express them in healthier ways. It also builds empathy towards other living creatures and the Earth we all share. Helping your children connect with themselves will also assist in them developing a strong bond with you as well.
